DIGITIZED OPTICS, located in Franklin, North Carolina, specializes in creative and unconventional photo shoots. We are not conventional photographers. We are photographers that work completely outside the box. We pride ourselves on creating photos that are "on the edge".
Our photographers don't create what you would consider "normal" photos. But. if you are looking for photographers that are open to new ideas, not bound by the basic rules of photography, and are jumping at the opportunity to create something different, you are in the right place.
To sum it up, our abilities are only limited to our collaborative imaginations, and we love the challenge of going beyond our past experiences. We are not deterred by location, the elements, or length of time needed to obtain your perfect shot/s.
We couldn't care less what the rest are doing. We live by the mantra; rules were meant to be broken. We know all the technical aspects of photography...ISO, shutter speeds, f/stops (and how they all relate to getting the final picture), how depth of field is created, the inverse square law, the psychological results from horizontal, vertical, parallel, zig-zag, and curved lines, sunny 16, etc.
We always use a hand-held incident light meter instead of the reflective light meter others use in camera. Our white balance is always set using kelvin temperatures or with an 18 percent gray card. We do as much as we can in camera; this allows us to keep the amount of time we have to spend on post-production, getting you your images faster, and saving you money.

No matter what your pear group is doing, do something different! If you do the same as them, you are just another face in the crowd. The choice is up to you; follow, or lead.
- We also work closely, and creatively, with models in creating portraits that will make them stand out from the crowd; perfect for portfolios and/or comp cards. Again, we strive to create photos that are not "run of the mill". We will spend the time it takes to make their photos original. As a boutique agency, we limit the amount of clients we work with at any given time. We give you the attention you deserve.
Our equipment is professional grade to provide you with professional photographic services. We have invested literally tens of thousands of dollars in professional equipment, allowing us to maintain the equipement needed to make your visions a reality.
Not only through education, we also maintain memberships is several very highly respected professional organizations that hold their members to the highest ethical standards. We meet, and constantly try to exceed, these standards. These organizations include: the Professional Photographers of America, the National Press Photographers Association, the American Society of Media Professionals, American Photographic Artists. Photographic Society of America, and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals
